What is kindergarten readiness?
Kindergarten readiness is a measurement of the knowledge, skills and behaviors that enable children to participate and succeed when they begin school. This sets the stage for future learning and overall success. There are many different skills and behaviors your child learns during the preschool years that help a child to be ready for success in kindergarten.
Families are their children's first teachers. Before kindergarten there are many things families can do to support their child's transition to school. The year before kindergarten is a great time to develop school readiness!
